It has 7 hectares in total, functioning as a home for 6 thousand species. It has 5 greenhouses and three gardens in French, Oriental and Roman styles. In addition, it has a large botanical library, a herbarium and, on many occasions, art exhibitions are held in its beautiful English-style mansion.
Visiting the Botanical Garden is a plan in itself to get a beautiful day out. Inside, it has several paths, with benches where you can sit down to enjoy a moment of pure nature. As you walk through the Garden, you will see that the species have a sign with their name, so that, in this way, you can get to know each of the species found here.
It is located in the heart of Santa Fe Avenue, one of the busiest in this neighborhood of Buenos Aires, at the intersection with the Syrian Arab Republic street. The area is one of the most luxurious and very close you can visit the Japanese Garden, since they are only a couple of blocks apart.
The Botanical Garden Bueno Aires, will dazzle you with its huge trees, giving you a day of learning, relaxation and a walk in the middle of nature. Furthermore, it is like an island in the hustle and bustle of the city, since it is formed as a parallel and silent environment. Admission to the Garden is free. It is closed on Mondays, since it is a day of specific care and cleaning. In the spring/summer season (from September 22 to March 21) it opens from Tuesday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (you can enter until 6:30 p.m.). Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, its hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., also with admission until 6:30 p.m. In the autumn/winter season (from March 22 to September 21) it opens from Tuesday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with admission until 5:30 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., also with entry until 5:30 p.m. Here we leave you their website to always have updated information.
