It is located on the 22nd floor of the Montevideo Government Building, 77 meters high, known as one of the panoramic views where a huge part of Montevideo can be seen.

Over the years, more parts were built, such as the garage, the side wings, the esplanade to later carry out expansion and improvement works, where the Panoramic Viewpoint that we know today entered the scene. Its first operation was in 1979.

The space offers personalized attention, an interactive screen with information on the possible tourist circuits that you can take in the city, in addition to having a restaurant and a cafeteria, which have witnessed different social events since its opening.

Here, you can get Wi-Fi with free access, devices to charge your cell phone in case you need it, rent binoculars by the hour and borrow an umbrella, since it is an open-air space, but nothing will stop you from enjoying it!

It opens from Monday to Friday from 4:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free, but prior registration and time reservation is required for each visitor. Here we leave the link!

Given the conditions of Covid-19, compliance with the protocols is also requested, so any visitor over 3 years of age must wear a mask all the time they enter and circulate through the common spaces, elevators and stairs. Likewise, the capacity has decreased, as well as the number of people authorized to use the elevator at the same time.
